Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Trek from Pokhara to Hile

Max Altitude: 1,460 meters

Travel Hours: 4 hours trek, ⅕ hour drive

We’ll start our short trip from scenic drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. Nayapul is the famous starting point of many popular treks in the Annapurna region.

After that, we’ll start our trek from Nayapul to Birethanti, a large riverside village at the confluence of the Modi and Burundi Khola. After a few hours of a hike with the view of an amazing landscape along the off-road, we’ll reach Hile for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Trek from Hile to Ghorepani

Max Altitude: 2,855 meters

Travel Hours: 6-7 hours

Early in the morning, we’ll cross a metal suspension bridge and ascend on a stone staircase to the village of Ulleri. Once we reach Ulleri, the marvelous views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli welcome us.

Next, we’ll continue our trek via forested area to Ghorepani village. The scenery is truly breathtaking, we’ll be compelled to forget all our tiredness. Ghorepani village offers a magnificent view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range. Overnight stay at Ghorepani village.

Day 3: Hike up to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani

Max Altitude: 3,210 meters, Poon Hill and 2,540 meters Tadapani

Travel Hours: 6-7 hours

This day will be one of the most exciting days of our Poon Hill trek. Early in the morning, we’ll hike to Poon Hill at 3,210 meters above the sea level.

From the top, we’ll see the amazing sunrise view over the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range. Besides, we’ll also get a panoramic view of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Machhapuchhre, and many surrounding peaks.

After spending a quality time in Poon Hill, we’ll descend back to Ghorepani and trek to Tadapani. At first, we’ll follow an uphill path till Deurali and then trail descends to Banthanti. Following downhill, we’ll reach Tadapani for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Trek to Saulibazar Via Ghandruk and drive back to Pokhara

Max Altitude: 1,952 meters, Ghandruk

Travel Hours: 6-7 hours

This day will be our last day of the trek. We’ll move back to Pokhara where we began our first adventure. We’ll continue our trek via one of the world’s largest rhododendron forests to Ghandruk village.

It is a beautiful village inhabited by Gurung communities. Ghandruk village offers a fantastic mountain view of Mt. Annapurna south, Mt. Himchuli, and Mt. Macchapucchre.

After 2 ½ hours walk, we’ll reach Saulibazar and another one and half hours flat walk along the corner of Modi Khola we reach Birethanti. Taking rest for a while, we’ll trek 25 min and reach Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara.
