On this Nepal-Tibet luxury tour, you will venture through almost all the heavenly places of Nepal all the way to Tibet. WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Kathmandu Tour

Kathmandu is the very first place to explore on your Nepal-Tibet journey. Kathmandu offers you many of the historical and architectural monuments. 7 of the UNESCO world heritage sites are located here. While staying at Kathmandu you will be exploring these rich and vibrant sites. You will visit Pashupatinath (Hindu pilgrimage site) which holds the historical, cultural and philosophical significance along with the fine architects. Apart from Pashupatinath, you will visit Kathmandu Durbar square and the home of the living goddess(Kumari) while enjoying the arts craved on the temples and the buildings of unique architecture. Apart from that, you will visit Swyambhunath stupa and Boudhanath stupa famous for Buddhist tradition and culture.  


2. Chitwan National Park

Chitwan also is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites of Nepal. Situated at the subtropical region of Terai Nepal, it offers a diverse range of flora and fauna. If you love to explore wildlife, Chitwan National Park is a great place for that. Having a total of 544 species of birds, 68 species mammals, 56 species of herpetofauna and 126 species of fish within the Chitwan National Park you will get to explore and enjoy this diversity for almost two days. You can expect to see one-horned rhino as well which is on the verge of Extinction. You will also get the spectacular view of the foothill of  Himalaya from there.
 

3. Everest Base Camp

On your Nepal Tibet luxury tour, Everest base camp helicopter tour is also included. On your helicopter tour to Everest base camp, you will get to enjoy the up-close view of Everest Himalaya range from up above the sky. You will tour around the highest peak in the world. You will get to land at the foot of the Mount Everest (Kala Patthar). From there you can get the closest ever view of Mount Everest, Khumbu icefall and all the snow-capped mountains. Besides that, you will get an exceptional view of the landscape, lush forests, rhododendron and oak trees and rivers while flying over the Lukla. 4. Everest View Hotel

While having your Base camp Heli tour, you get to rest at the Everest View Hotel for a while to have breakfast. It had once held the Guinness book world record for being the hotel situated at the highest elevation. You will get to enjoy their warm hospitality while enjoying your breakfast. You will get the mesmerizing panoramic view of Everest Himalayan range from there. 
 

5. Panorama of Himalayas and Landscapes from The Helicopter

While flying for the Everest base camp helicopter tour and to the Chitwan National park, you get to enjoy the beautiful landscapes covered with green forests, beautiful river and waterfalls and the panorama of the Himalayas from the helicopter. 
 

6. Potala Place

The Potala Place is the winter residence of Dalai Lama. It holds the record of being the highest ancient place in the world. You will get to explore the Potala place at Lhasa on your luxury tour.It is a famous pilgrimage site of the Tibetan people. Thousands of peoples from around the world here. The physical structure of the red and white buildings blending with the blue sky is what attracts the tourists most.
 

7. Jokhang Temple

Jhokhang temple is considered as the most sacred temple of Tibet. It is located on the Barkhor street of Lhasa. It has a significant amount of cultural artefacts and sculptures. The oldest part of the temple was built around 900 years ago. It holds the historical and traditional significance of Buddhist culture.  
 

8. Sera and Drepung Monasteries

Sera and Drepung monasteries are two of the major three university monasteries of Tibet. is one of the major monasteries of Tibet. Sera Monastery is famous for the debate of the Buddist doctrines. 
 

10. Close up view of the Himalayas from the roof of the world

While spending the time at Lhasa you will get the beautiful closeup view of many of the highest peaks of the world including the Everest itself. Famously known as the roof of the world, Tibet offers the best view of the surrounding landscapes and mountains.

DAY 01: Arrival at Kathmandu
  • Picking you up from the airport 
  • Drive you to the luxurious Dwarika's  Hotel 
  • Explore nearby places, cafes and restaurants

When you arrive at Kathmandu, we will come to peak you up at the airport. And you will be taken to Dwarika’s Hotel. You will take rest there for a while and set out to explore the Kathmandu city. You can stroll around the streets, explore cafes and restaurants around. Later in the evening, you will be given a short tour briefing. You will have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 02: Excursion on Kathmandu Valley
  • Explore the Kathmandu City
  • Visit several UNESCO world heritage sites like Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square, etc.

On this day you will be given the briefing of the tour. After that, you will visit the Hindu pilgrimage site Pashupatinath. We will head towards Kathmandu Durbar Square. You will get to observe the house of Living Goddess there. You can roam around there exploring the paintings, handicrafts and many other things in the city. After that, you will be visiting the Swyambhunath stupa and return to the Hotel at last. You will be served with dinner. And you will spend your night there well rested.

DAY 03: Everest Base Camp Helicopter Trip
  • Helicopter flight to the Everest View Hotel
  • Wonderful aerial view of the landscapes and mountains from Helicopter
  • Enjoy the panoramic view of the Everest range while enjoying the warm Coffee 

Early in this morning, you will go for the flightseeing tour to take an up-close view of the Himalayan range including Mt. Everest and many of the other high peaks. On this helicopter tour, you will get the closest view of the Mount Everest and will get the landing opportunity at Kalapaththar(EBC). After observing the wonderful view around the Himalayas you will get back to Kathmandu by the afternoon. As an alternative to this helicopter tour, you can take the plane flight as well. However, you will not get the landing opportunity.

DAY 04: Chitwan National Park Jungle Safari
  • Explore the jungles, wildlife in their natural habitat 
  • Chance to encounter rhinoceros, monkeys, wild boars, leopards, sloths, and if you are very lucky, Royal Bengal tiger too

On day four, you will fly to Chitwan(Bharatpur airport). You will explore the jungles there. You can expect to track the one-horned rhino there which is one of the rarest animals. If you get lucky enough you get to catch a rare glimpse of Bengali tiger. Apart from that, you will get to observe plenty of other animals and birds, flora and faunas etc. The jungles of CNP will take you one step closer to nature.

DAY 5: Chitwan Safari Contd. 
  • Canoeing on the Rapti river and enjoy the views of elephant baths 
  • Walk through the jungles exploring the wildlife 
  • Elephant Safari through the jungle
  • Chance to encounter rhinoceros, monkeys, wild boars, leopards, sloths, and if you are very lucky, Royal Bengal tiger too

Exploring all the things Chitwan has to offer cannot be completed in one day. On day five as well we will be having jungle safari. Expert naturalists will help you at this excursion. By the time we finish exploring the jungles, we will be canoeing along the Rapti river enjoying the wonderful scenes and Himalayan foothills along the way. 

After that, you will be enjoying the Elephant Safari, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenario sitting on the back of the Elephant. You can enjoy the view of the elephant bath, different animals etc. At the same evening, we will be spending our time getting the closure look of Tharu culture and enjoy their traditional dance program in the resort.

DAY 6: Dhulikhel
  • Enjoy the mesmerizing view of the surrounding from Dhulikhel 
  • Roam around the park of Dhulikhel and ascend the 1000 step stairs

On day six, we will fly back to Kathmandu from Bharatpur airport. After your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the Resort at Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is a paradise to spend the evening time between the Jungles and scenic view of mountains around. You will enjoy the mesmerizing view of the surrounding from Dhulikhel. You will spend this day enjoying roaming around the parks of Dhulikhel.

DAY 7: Fly to Lhasa
  • Fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu
  • Check into a luxury hotel and take rest

On the seventh day of our Nepal Tibet tour, you will be driven to Kathmandu airport. You will fly to Lhasa that day. Lhasa is the gateway to the Tibet. Tibet is the city situated at the highest elevation (12,000 ft). You will stay at Tibet for next three days. On this day you will sit back and give yourself rest at the luxurious hotel.

DAY 08: Lhasa/Majestic Monasteries
  • Explore the Lhasa city 
  • Visit Drepung and Sera monasteries 

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will then proceed to explore Lhasa. The city known as the roof of the world is the finest combination of history, religion and tradition. On the eighth day of our tour, we will visit majestic monasteries. We will first observe Drepung monastery and then continue to Sera. We will watch as the monks in their traditional attire gather at the courtyard of the monastery. The spiritual/theological debate they make with interesting gestures is a not-to-miss sight.

DAY 09: Lhasa Tibet/ Potala Palace and Local Market
  • Visit the Potala Palace and Jokhang temple
  • Explore the Lhasa’s Barkhor Bazaar and buy the souvenirs

On day nine, you will be venturing at the Potala place. It is the former winter residence of Dalai Lama. It is famously known for the sculptures, statues of Buddha, murals, antiques and religious jewellery. The majestic white and red building is the major attraction of Tibet. After exploring the Potala place you will then visit the Jokhang temple. It is the most sacred temple for the Tibetan people. Many pilgrims come from all over the Tibet to prostrate themselves in front of the temple. Lastly, we will be exploring Lhasa’s Barkhor bazaar.

DAY 10: Kathmandu
  • Fly back to Kathmandu from Lhasa

DAY 11: Farewell
  • Driving you to the airport and wishing you goodbye
