Kathmandu Tour

Kathmandu is the very first place to explore on your Nepal and Tibet journey. Kathmandu offers you many historical and architectural monuments. Seven of Nepal's 10 UNESCO World Heritage Sites are located here. While staying in Kathmandu, you will be exploring these rich and vibrant places. You will visit Pashupatinath (Hindu pilgrimage site) which holds historical, cultural, and philosophical significance, and it is a sacred cremation ground as well. After Pashupatinath, you will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, which holds the home of the living goddess (Kumari), while enjoying the intricate designs carved on the Newari temples and buildings. Apart from that, you will visit Swyambhunath Boudhanath stupas, famous for their Buddhist tradition and culture.

Chitwan National Park

Chitwan is yet another one of Nepal's UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Situated in the subtropical Terai region, it offers a diverse range of flora and fauna. If you love to explore wildlife, Chitwan National Park might be your favorite stop. With a total of 544 species of birds, 68 species of mammals, 56 species of herpetofauna, and 126 species of fish within the Chitwan National Park, you will get to explore and enjoy the rich biodiversity for an exciting two days. You can expect to see the one-horned rhino as well, which is an endangered species. You will also get a spectacular view of the foothill of the Himalayas from there.

Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

Jokhang Temple

Jokhang temple is considered to be the most sacred temple in Tibet. It is located on Barkhor Street in Lhasa. It has a significant amount of cultural artifacts and sculptures. The oldest part of the temple was built around 900 years ago. It holds the historical and traditional significance of Buddhist culture.

Sera and Drepung Monasteries

Sera and Drepung monasteries are two of the major three university monasteries of Tibet. Sera Monastery is famous for the debate of Buddhist doctrines.

Day 1:Arrival at Kathmandu

When you arrive at Kathmandu, we will come to peak you up at the airport. And you will be taken to Dwarika’s Hotel. You will take rest there for a while and set out to explore the Kathmandu city. You can stroll around the streets, explore cafes and restaurants around. Later in the evening, you will be given a short tour briefing. You will have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2:Excursion on Kathmandu Valley

On this day you will be given the briefing of the tour. After that, you will visit the Hindu pilgrimage site Pashupatinath. We will head towards Kathmandu Durbar Square. You will get to observe the house of the Living Goddess there. You can roam around there exploring the paintings, handicrafts and many other things in the city. After that, you will be visiting the Swyambhunath stupa and return to the Hotel at last. You will be served with dinner. And you will spend your night there well-rested.

Day 3:Everest Base Camp Helicopter Trip

Early in this morning, you will go for the flightseeing tour to take an up-close view of the Himalayan range including Mt. Everest and many of the other high peaks. On this helicopter tour, you will get the closest view of the Mount Everest and will get the landing opportunity at Kalapaththar(EBC). After observing the wonderful view around the Himalayas you will get back to Kathmandu by the afternoon. As an alternative to this helicopter tour, you can take the plane flight as well. However, you will not get the landing opportunity.

Day 4:Chitwan National Park Jungle Safari

On day four, you will fly to Chitwan(Bharatpur airport). You will explore the jungles there. You can expect to track the one-horned rhino there which is one of the rarest animals. If you get lucky enough you get to catch a rare glimpse of Bengali tiger. Apart from that, you will get to observe plenty of other animals and birds, flora and faunas, etc. The jungles of CNP will take you one step closer to nature.

Day 5:Chitwan Safari Contd.

Exploring all the things Chitwan has to offer cannot be completed in one day. On day five as well we will be having jungle safari. Expert naturalists will help you on this excursion. By the time we finish exploring the jungles, we will be canoeing along the Rapti river enjoying the wonderful scenes and Himalayan foothills along the way.

After that, you will be enjoying the Elephant Safari, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenario sitting on the back of the Elephant. You can enjoy the view of the elephant bath, different animals, etc. On the same evening, we will be spending our time getting the closure look of Tharu culture and enjoy their traditional dance program in the resort.

Day 6:Dhulikhel

On day six, we will fly back to Kathmandu from Bharatpur airport. After your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the Resort at Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is a paradise to spend the evening time between the Jungles and scenic view of mountains around. You will enjoy the mesmerizing view of the surrounding from Dhulikhel. You will spend this day enjoying roaming around the parks of Dhulikhel.

Day 7:Fly to Lhasa

On the seventh day of our Nepal Tibet tour, you will be driven to Kathmandu airport. You will fly to Lhasa that day. Lhasa is the gateway to Tibet. Tibet is the city situated at the highest elevation (12,000 ft). You will stay in Tibet for next three days. On this day you will sit back and give yourself rest at the luxurious hotel.

Day 8:Lhasa/Majestic Monasteries

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will then proceed to explore Lhasa. The city known as the roof of the world is the finest combination of history, religion, and tradition. On the eighth day of our tour, we will visit majestic monasteries. We will first observe the Drepung monastery and then continue to Sera. We will watch as the monks in their traditional attire gather at the courtyard of the monastery. The spiritual/theological debate they make with interesting gestures is a not-to-miss sight.

Day 9:Lhasa Tibet/ Potala Palace and Local Market

On day nine, you will be venturing at the Potala place. It is the former winter residence of Dalai Lama. It is famously known for the sculptures, statues of Buddha, murals, antiques, and religious jewelry. The majestic white and red building is the major attraction of Tibet. After exploring the Potala place you will then visit the Jokhang temple. It is the most sacred temple for the Tibetan people. Many pilgrims come from all over Tibet to prostrate themselves in front of the temple. Lastly, we will be exploring Lhasa’s Barkhor Bazaar.

Day 10:Kathmandu

After collecting heartful of experience exploring Lhasa, you will fly back to Kathmandu. You will trade your travel stories with your fellow travelers at the dinner party at the Dwarika’s Hotel organized by Sublime Trails.

Day 11:Farewell

 This will be the last day of your luxury trip. On this day we will drive you to the airport for your connecting flight and bid you a warm farewell. However, if you decide to stay more in Nepal and go for other trips, you can inform us. We will be more than happy to help you.
