But teahouse and lodge owners might charge you around US$ 1 - US$ 2 to charge your devices. As November sees a large number of trekkers, you might have to wait a long time in queues to charge your devices.

Therefore, you need to bring some spare batteries while trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in November.

Altitude Sickness

You are less likely to catch altitude sickness while trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in comparison to other high-altitude treks like Everest Base Camp Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek, or Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek.

This is mainly because the highest altitude of the ABC trek (4130 meters) is lower than EBC (5545 meters), and KBC (5143 meters). Also, the altitude gain per day in the ABC trek is also quite low.

To prepare for altitude sickness, you should be involved in physical preparation. You should never rush while trekking.

You should make the descent to a lower altitude in case you catch the symptoms of altitude sickness. Finally, keep the intake of food and water high during trekking.

Preparing for the ABC trek in November

You should also focus on strengthening your core as well as your upper body. Upper Body strength will come in extremely handy if you are carrying your backpack yourself.

In order to avoid altitude sickness, many people decide to stay in Machhapuchhre Base Camp overnight and head out to Annapurna Base Camp in the morning. During the morning, the skies are quite clear. So you can get sumptuous mountain views from ABC in the morning time.
