Trekking in Nepal in November is probably one of the best seasons. This time of the year, you will have an unimpeded view of the mountains and perfect weather to trek.  You will come across several trekking routes depending on the difficulty level, duration, region, etc.

During this time the trekking routes will see a maximum number of tourists so if you are planning to go to the popular trekking regions, make sure you have already made reservations through your travel company in Nepal. Since this month also sees the start of winter, you will have to be extra careful during the early mornings and evenings. But all in all, this is one of the best times of the year as monsoon is long gone and winter is some time away.

Everest Base Camp Trek

Everest Base Camp Trek has to be the first trek on your mind for the month of November. This world-famous trail is the gateway to the highest mountain in the world, Mount Everest. It starts with the famous Kathmandu to Lukla flight and landing at the Tenzing-Hillary airport is an adventure in itself. This airport is often touted as the ‘Most Dangerous airport in the World’.

The Everest Base Camp trek is famous for offering diverse landscapes within a span of days. Starting with a forested trail that leads to the rocky and barren trail as one reaches the Base Camp. This trek takes you to the historic town of Namche Bazaar and goes through towns and villages such as Tengboche and Dingboche. Tengboche is famous for its famous monastery and it also offers a view of the mountains. The Everest Base camp will be the highlight of the trek. The altitude of the base camp is 5365 meters. Then another interesting part of the trek is Kala Patthar. Trekkers usually start their journey early in the morning to catch the sunrise. From Kala Patthar, you can have the best view of Mount Everest. After Kala Patthar, you descend and return to Lukla from where you can catch a flight to Kathmandu.

This trek also offers a spectacular view of the mountains such as Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse and Makalu among others. Get close to the culture of the Sherpa people and their wonderful culture. Everest Base Camp Trek can be completed in either 14 or 16 days.
 

Rara Lake Trekking

Now moving towards the western side of Nepal, another trek that has started attracting trekkers is the Rara Lake Trekking. You will be visiting the biggest lake in the world which is situated at a staggering altitude of almost 3000 meters.

The trek starts after you take a flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and then a flight from Nepalgunj to Jumla. From Jumla, you will start your journey on foot. We will then take the trail which leads to villages such as Chere Chaur, Chalachaur, Sinja Valley, Ghorosinga and finally to the biggest lake in Nepal, Rara Lake. the next day you can spend the day in and around Rara lake. While returning you will come across villages such as Pina and Burma until you reach Jumla. From Jumla you will again catch a return flight.

Rara Lake Trekking offers one of the best experiences. This lake is popular for its crystal color water and lush forests surrounding it. You will also see the magnificent view of the mountains. It does not see many tourists as well. So, a perfect way to spend your trekking in Nepal in November.
 

Manaslu Circuit Trekking

Manaslu Circuit officially came into existence officially after 1992. This trek has been overshadowed by the more popular treks of Nepal. But this trek has it all and has seen the rise in the number of visitors over the last few years.

The trip starts after a bus from Kathmandu to Soti Khola and from there you start your journey on foot. Over the course of 9 days, you will come across several villages such as Machhikhola, Bihi Phedi, Namrung, Dharmashala, etc. The highlight of the trek definitely goes to Larkya La Pass which is situated at an astounding 5213 meters. Manaslu Trekking usually takes 17 days.

This trek offers you rare sights of wildlife and a spectacular view of the Manaslu mountain among others. You will also see the Manaslu glacier. This trek offers you a pristine environment and gorgeous landscapes and offers you the chance to interact with the locals and get to know about their culture.
 

Annapurna Circuit Trek

Annapurna Circuit trek is certainly one of the best trekking routes in Nepal. You will be traveling to famous districts - Lamjung and Manang. Your trek will end when you cross the legendary Thorong La Pass and reach another famous district of Mustang.

You will be required to go to Besisahar on a bus from Kathmandu. Then from Besisahar, we will take a jeep to Chame. From Chame, we will walk for the next 7 days until we finally cross the Thorong La Pass which is situated at an altitude of 5416 meters. Before reaching we will come across Pisang which is famous for its wonderful landscape and its flora and fauna. We will be able to catch views of several peaks such as Annapurna, Himchuli, Dhaulagiri, etc. We will also spend a day in the famous town of Manang. We will then head to Thorong Phedi, which serves as a base camp for trekkers willing to cross the Thorong La Pass. After crossing the Thorong La Pass, you reach the famous town called Muktinath and make your way back to Pokhara or Kathmandu.

This trek is has a diverse landscape and getters beautiful with every increase in the altitude. This popular trek in the Annapurna region makes one of the best routes for trekking in Nepal in November. It can be completed in a span of 16 days.
 

Dhaulagiri Trekking

The Dhaulagiri trekking route got its name from the famous mountain of this region called Dhaulagiri. This trek offers you a pristine environment and can be considered as the trail which sees very few travelers, making it perfect if you want to avoid crowds.

You can take a bus from Kathmandu to Beni. From Beni, you start your journey on foot and head to the Babaichor. For the next few days you will travel through several villages such as Dharapani, Dobang, Italian Base Camp, etc. then you will reach Glacier Camp and finally reach the Dhaulagiri Base Camp which is situated at an altitude of 4740 meters. Another highlight of the trek would be crossing the French Pass which is at a staggering altitude of 5360 meters. Dhaulagiri Treks usually takes about 18 days.

This trek gives you a spectacular view of Dhaulagiri I(8167m), Dhaulagiri II (7751m), Dhaulagiri III (7715 m) and Dhaulagiri V (7618 m). When you are Beni, the altitude at that time will be 850 meters. But, by the end of the trek, you will have reached an altitude of 5360 meters when you cross the famous French Pass.
