Best choice for Everest Base Camp Trek

    5/5 Rating:

Everything was well organized and taken care of with Sublime Trails so we could just relax & enjoy our trek. From the moment we arrived at the Kathmandu airport our guide Rishi was waiting with a sign with our names on it. He shook our hands and greeted us with…

1. Is there any chance of the flight delay in Kathmandu and Lukla?

The primary mode of transport to and from the airstrip at Lukla is twin otter. This service is fairly dependable. Sometimes due to the adverse weather conditions like heavy rain, strong wind, or thick fog may lead to flight delay and even cancellations.
Since the topography of Nepal is difficult so it’s better not to take off the flight in those adverse weather conditions. Autumn is the most preferred trekking season in Nepal. During this time of the year, the weather is dry, clear and stable. So, this time of the year there is very a rare chance of flight delay and cancellations.

2. What kind of hotel and accommodation can I find during the trek?

During the trekking period, you’ll be accommodated at the best luxury tea houses which provides the finest services. Along the trail, most of the tea houses provide single and double rooms. The rooms are well furnished and include beds, pillows, and blankets. But as you gain the altitude the tea house will be quite basic. You may have to share the common toilet and bathroom.

3. How about the transport for the trek?

Depending on the nature of travel destinations to and from varies from domestic flights to the bus, jeep, van and even mules and yaks. During the tour, only that mode of transportations is provided which helps to enhance your local experience. Also, your comfortability and safety is our major concern while traveling with us.

4. What about electricity and battery charges during the trek?

Almost all tea houses in Everest region has electricity or solar power available. Normally we use the voltage 220-240 volts to power the appliances. You're recommended to bring two points power plug. In Everest region charging your electronic devices might cost US$ 2-3 per hour. It may cost one-two dollar more in peak season while tea houses are full.

5. How much can porter carry?

25kg one porter between two members.
Our one porter can carry up to 25kg while you trek to the Everest region. Your other personal items will be stored safely at our hotel. All you need to carry is a daypack with most necessary stuff for the day on the trek.

6. What type of meals and drinks will be served during the trek?

You’ll be served high-quality meals that are perfect for a day of trekking. Almost all of the tea houses along the trail catered similar food menu. The menu usually includes toast, boiled eggs, potatoes, noodles, pasta, and rice.

If you’re a vegetarian, no problem! We’re able to cater to your needs. Most tea houses also served tea and coffee. Please keep in mind that you should avoid alcohol while trekking at high altitudes.
