I hope all of our global customers, who booked the trip with us and traveled with us are safe from this deadly virus 'Covid-29'.
From the Covid-19 global pandemic resulting from most countries fully or partially locked down. which results in most business organizations and industries are bankrupted and huge losses in jobs and income. The global Tourism industry is in deep recession including Nepal. For Sublime Trails, it is the same story because we have been receiving a large number of emails regarding the cancellation.
As a precautionary measure, our country Nepal is locked down for till mid-April and if the situation remains the same then locked down can go longer. Considering this, our highest priority is the safety and health of our clients and staff. With this in mind as a director, I have taken some of the strict decisions to maintain the running of this company in the long run, to protect our staff from hunger and to protect your payment from collapsing.
1. I humbly request to all of our customers to postpone the trip who have booked the trip for March 2020- July 2020.
In response to this challenging time due to COVID-19 which is beyond anyone’s control, we’ve made it easier for you to postpone the trip if you have already booked with us. We are providing free postponement options to all our clients. We urge you to support us in this if at all possible because, as you can imagine, the financial implications for us are huge.
If you want to postpone the trip, you don’t have to confirm new dates now and you can travel anytime in the next 3 years without any extra cost. This means the payments you have already made stay secure with us and you can re-book the trip at a later date instead of immediately canceling now and losing the deposit.
2. We do not accept the cancellation of the trip which is booked for September 2020 and onwards.
The whole world is optimistic about controlling this pandemic as soon as possible. We hope to be back on the normal situation very soon and the trip that is booked for Autumn 2020 and 2021 will run smoothly. We cannot the booking of those trips which is booked for autumn 2020 and 2021. If you want to forced cancellation then the refund of your deposit amount will be made after October 2020 by applying our regular terms and conditions.
3. Keeping you informed about our refund policy
Due to the high volume of requests, we seek your understanding as it may take longer than usual to provide you a refund due to the strict monetary policy of Nepal’s government. Usually, the fund transfer policy outside of Nepal is a strict and long process. we have to submit all the documents. On the other hand, the company is on huge loss and hard to survive our company's whole team. So, I humbly request all of our travelers to support us by postponing the trip.
The credit can be used for the next three years from the date of postpone. Along with time, the price of the package could increase but there will not be any increase in your trip cost.
On the other hand, if a refund is your only priority, we will start the transfer process. It won’t happen now considering the current situation as the banks are not in proper operation. Once the COVID-19 situation is stable and under control which may take some time, and after we manage the sufficient fund we will get back to you and start the process to go through the bank from our side.
Last but not least, my thoughts are with our clients and business partners to stay safe at your home and avoid an epidemic. I hope that you are optimistic, adaptable and positive about long term implications even in these uncertain times.
