The reason being Everest Three High Passes Trekking very cost effective is the places it encompasses. Until Dingboche Valley the trip follows the similar trekking activities done during Everest Base Camp Trek. Landing at Lukla, first day’s rest in Phakding, Namche Bazaar exploration including acclimatization hiking, Tengboche Monastery and finally the Dingboche takes place during this trek too. From Dingboche the trail takes different route to reach tranquil hamlet of Lobuche. The pass which is narrow and challenging ever Himalayan pass - the Kongma La is the first hurdle to cross during this trek. Heed the instructions given by trekking leader or guides of Sublime Trails. Falling stone, slippery trail and narrow route might cause havoc to the trekkers. Once you trek past the Kongma La alluring Lobuche welcomes you with warm lodging and delicious food. Before heading to another pass in the form of Chola Pass the journey straightens to Everest Base Camp (5365 m). The Kalapathar sunrise hiking early morning before heading to Dzongla at the foothill of Chola pass takes place. Relish scintillating mountains glowing on sun rays like Mt. Amadablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, etc. including Everest.

The second pass to cross is very alluring. So much round the year trail is covered by snow. The sight might act as photographer’s paradise. From the top of Chola the sight of Amadablam, Choyou, Pumori, Lobuche and others looks spectacular. Upon crossing of Chola the fairyland style of hamlet located on shores of blue watered Gokyo Lake appears. This is probably the best place for understanding Ramsar Site of Khumbu and amazing sunrise and sunset peculiarity up in the Himalayas. Set out for marvelous sunset or sunrise view from Gokyo Ri before heading to cross the Renjo La Pass. This rugged rocky pass is the final pass upon crossing of which takes trekkers towards Namche Bazaar passing by Thame Valley. The same route towards Lukla will be used and flight will take you back to Kathmandu.
