The first flight takes you to the Everest View Hotel, located at 3780 meters in Syangboche, which is under surveillance of the highest peak in the world in all directions. You get a satisfying view of Everest with a superb panorama of the Khumbu Peaks and Everest.
The second flight will take you from the snowy peaks to grassy lowlands, allowing you to experience the diverse topography of Nepal. Day 01: Arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu
Namaste and welcome to Nepal!
We at Sublime Trails welcome you to Nepal. Just keep an eye out for somebody holding a ‘Sublime Trails’ signboard, because Sublime Trails office representatives will be there to receive you at the Airport. Our private vehicle will drive you to the luxurious 5-star Dwarika’s Hotel in Kathmandu. You can relax, probably get over the jetlag.
Or you could head out around and take a walk and explore the peaceful city of Kathmandu in the evening. If you do not want to dine at the hotel, which I recommend you should, there are a countless number of cafes and restaurants around the city that you could go to. Also, you should definitely try the Nepali Arabica ground coffee is a while you are here.

Day 02: Fly to Everest View Hotel by Helicopter
After having breakfast at Dwarika's, we will head to the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. We will then fly to the Everest View Hotel by helicopter. The Everest View Hotel is located at 3780 meters in Syangboche.
From the hotel, we will savour the most worthwhile cup of coffee with the staggering view of the Everest Range. You get your first great view of Everest with a superb panorama of the Khumbu Peaks and Everest. Stay overnight at this luxurious 5-star hotel at a height of 3800 metres!
Take the most luxurious ride all the way to the heart of the Everest region to witness the best view of the Everest and Khumbu Peaks.This is a checkpoint for every trekker and climber on their way to the Everest Base Camp for acclimatization. This hotel lies 400 metres above Namche Bazaar in Syangboche at 3800 metres.
Or if you like, we can even arrange or a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla at 2850 metres if you are in for a trek. It will then be a 4 hours trek to Namche and another couple hours to the Everest View Point Hotel. This is the shortest trek you could do to see the first best view of the world's tallest mountain.

Day 03: Fly to Chitwan National Park by Helicopter
From the Everest View Hotel, we will directly fly to the Chitwan National Park by helicopter. Enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains and hills as we fly over them all the way to to the flatlands of Nepal- Chitwan.
For a country known for its gigantic mountains, the Gangetic flat lands of the Terai, which stretches throughout the southern part of Nepal, will give you the complete opposite experience of what we had a day ago. If you are visiting Nepal you have to savour the beauty of the Terai, and Chitwan is the best place to go.
The Sublime Trials representatives will transfer you to Meghauli Serai; a luxury resort from the arrival point at Chitwan. You will be welcomed with drinks and after lunch, you can take your time to relax and freshen up at the hotel. We will then leave for a village tour on an ox cart and ride along the serene roads of Chitwan.
Explore the beautiful flatlands of Nepal's Terai, in contrast to its better-known mountains and take the ox-cart ride to explore the area’s biodiversity. Established in 1973, Chitwan National Park is located at just 150 meters above the sea level. Chitwan national park has long been the country’s precious treasure. The park is situated in south-central Nepal, covers 932 sq. km of area. The Chitwan valley consists of tropical and subtropical forests such as Sal forests, Riverine forests and grasslands. Sal leaves are used locally for plates in festivals and religious offerings.
The area was known as "Four Mile Forest" and is a hunting reserve for big game hunting until 1951. In 1963, the area south of the Rapti River was demarcated as rhinoceros sanctuary. The area was gazetted as the country's first national park in 1973. Recognizing its unique ecosystem of international significance, UNESCO declared Chitwan national park a world heritage site in 1984.
The park is home to more than 50 mammals' species, over 500 birds and 55 amphibians and reptiles. The endangered animals found in the park are the One-Horned Rhinoceros, Gaur, Royal Bengal Tiger, Wild Elephant, Four-horned Antelope, Pangolin, Golden Monitor lizard, Python etc. Birds include Bengal Florican, Giant Hornbill, Black Stork, White Stork etc.
We will then take you back to the hotel for dinner after the scenic tour.
Chitwan can get quite hot from March through June, with peak temperatures rising up to 43°C in the summer. This makes the spring and autumn the best time to visit Chitwan. February to May the most pleasant season, but the autumn months are also gorgeous, with the best view of the Himalayas. In winter (December-January), Chitwan is pleasantly warmer in comparison to Kathmandu, while the humid monsoon season (July-August) is marked by heavy rains, swollen rivers, and lush green vegetation.

Day 04: Explore Chitwan
Today we will explore all through the Chitwan National Park. After breakfast at our resort, we have a bunch of activities planned out for the day.
We will first take a canoe ride on the Rapti river. One of the main attractions on a sunny day is to watch the elephants take a swim in the river and the crocodiles basking under the sun at the river banks. swim with the elephants as they take their baths. We will also take a short walk through the jungle and watch the extraordinary wildlife of Chitwan from the numerous watchtowers from a better view.
We will then take an Elephant Safari through the jungles on an elephant’s back after lunch. During the safari, you will get the opportunity to explore the wildlife from different perspectives. You can examine some of the more specialized habitats of the animals. From the vantage point of the back of a well-trained elephant, look out for the four different kinds of beers found in the CNP, rhinoceros, monkey, wild boars, leopards, sloths, and if you are very lucky, Royal Bengal tigers. You will also encounter many smaller mammals that call Chitwan home. A trained naturalist will accompany you for the 90-minute safari, explaining the flora and fauna of Chitwan Park as relax and enjoy the elephant ride.
We will then head back the hotel where you can freshen up and witness a Tharu Cultural Dance Show right before dinner.
Tauru are the indigenous inhabitants of the Terai, and the Sublime Trails guides will help you interact and communicate with them to learn about and experience their traditional way of life. Feel free to join them at the end of their performance if they ask you to.

Day 05: Flight/Drive to Pokhara
Cruise through the highly scenic highway from Kathmandu to Pokhara on our private vehicle. Or you could save yourself from the 6-hour journey, and enjoy the 30-minute flight. Either way, if the sky is clear, you will witness the first view of the magnificent Mt.Machhapuchhre, the Annapurna and the Dhaulagiri Ranges.
The beautiful Lake City, Pokhara, is Nepali take on Amsterdam and is a tourists haven. Packed with cafes, restaurants and bars this sub-urban city is lit. On peak trekking seasons, you will find the bars open throughout the week!
Other than that, Pokhara is rich with the natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with mountains.
Pokhara also offers the first view of magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, and numerous peaks of Annapurna range. This town is filled with lush vegetations, swift flowing rivers and dotted with clear, shimmering lakes. It is one of the major towns of Nepal. Providing a perfect getaway from the chaotic life in the cities. If Kathmandu is the cultural hub of Nepal then Pokhara is the centre of adventure.

Day 06: Sightseeing around in Pokhara
Pokhara has a lot to offer. Being a small suburban town by the beautiful Fewa Lake, Pokhara is a relatively quiet place. You can relax by the numerous cafes around the late, or you can take up other adventurous activities like Bungee Jumping, Ziplining, Whitewater Rafting, Paragliding and lots more.
In the evening, we will take you on the most pleasant boat ride on the Fewa Lake. Enjoy the beautiful sunset on the bright green waters of the lake to witness a spectacular experience. We can either boat to the Tal Barahi Temple that is on a small island on the lake. Or we can simply take a roundabout ride across the lake and get back for dinner.
Pokhara also has plenty of good restaurants, cafes, bars and breakfast places that you can go explore. Simply rent a bicycle, and go cycling around the city to experience yet another geographical cultural taste of Nepal.
Day 07: Flight/Drive to Kathmandu
After breakfast at the hotel, we will then either take a 25-minute flight back to Kathmandu. Or if you would like a drive, Sublime Trails will take you back in one of our private vehicles on a 6-7 hour journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Sit back and relax at the hotel before we go for some bird watching. Nepal is known for its diverse species of birds that pass through Nepal from all over the world. And otherwise, Nepal is home to 862 species of the total of the 10,000 species worldwide. Nepal being one of the smallest countries in the world is still home to 10% of all the birds in the world.
The Spiny Babbler from the family of “Passerine Birds” is a bird that is only found in Nepal. Bird species in Nepal include the giant hornbill, black stork, white stork, heron, Bengal florican, lesser florican, woodpecker, egret, flycatcher peafowl, red jungle fowl, kingfisher, etc.
And if you are looking for something to do in Kathmandu, there are many. You could go shopping for some handicrafts and world-famous Pashmina to take back home as souvenirs or gifts. Also, there are tons of different restaurants, bistros and cafes around the city that serve a variety of cuisines. You can go out in the evening and check a few of them out. You should definitely try the Natural Nepali Arabica ground coffee while you are here.
To celebrate the successful completion of our journey we will all gather for a farewell dinner with the manager of Sublime Trails and we would love for you to share your great experience.
Day 08: International departure
The trip concludes on this day and we will have our airport representatives to drop you off at the Kathmandu International Airport three hours before your scheduled flight from Nepal.
