And if you are still game for some green jungle safaris, then Nepal’s first national park which was founded in1973 is well placed in the fertile plains of the south central Terai region of Nepal, a sprawling zone of sub-tropical lowlands. The green dense jungles hereabouts are Rich in flora and fauna, & the Chitwan National Park is one of the last havens for the endangered Bengal Tiger and also home to one of the last populations of the Indian Rhinoceros in Nepal.
