After that, you will head out to Nagarkot, which is a hill station in the outskirts of Kathmandu valley. Best Time

There are 4 seasons in Nepal. These are summer, winter, autumn, and spring.

Autumn (September, October, and November) and Spring (March, April, and May) are the best seasons for the one-week luxury tour in Nepal. These seasons are the peak travel seasons as these seasons have the largest number of travelers to Nepal.

These two seasons have a low amount of rainfall as well as mild sunshine during the daytime. The clear views of the mountains in these seasons is another reason for the popularity of these seasons.

The lowest temperature in the winter (December, January, and February) in Kathmandu and Pokhara is around 1 degree C. The temperatures But you will have a healthy amount of sunshine in the daytime in the winters.

Outline Itinerary

You will fly to the capital city of Kathmandu on the first day of your trip. A representative and driver from Sublime Trails will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. They will have a display board that reads “Sublime Trails” for your convenience. They will escort you to your hotel and help you check in.

You will stay in Dwarika Hotel. The hotel is one of the most prestigious in Nepal. The fantastic wooden carvings that decorate this hotel is a sumptuous place to stay in.

In the evening time, we will greet you with a welcome dinner. In the dinner, you will enjoy authentic Nepalese cuisine. We will also brief you about the One Week Luxury Tour in Nepal during the dinner. After dinner, we will transport you to Hotel Dwarika for your overnight stay.
Today, you will head out on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley. You will visit various UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu valley today. These include religious temples like Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Patan Durbar Square.

Pashupatinath Temple
This holy temple of Hindu lies along the banks of river Bagmati. It is not a solitary temple. Rather, it is a congregation of ashrams, stone inscriptions, and shrines that have been built over the past centuries. On the outskirts of the temple is Sleshmantak forest, where is it believed that Lord Shiva once took in the form of a deer. There are wonderful ceremonies that take place in the temple during the morning and the evening time. The temple also has a ceremony of cremation along the banks of Bagmati river.

Boudhanath
Boudhanath temple lies approximately 11 kilometers from the center of Kathmandu in a town called Boudha. Boudhanath is one of the biggest stupas in the world. Owing to the presence of a large number of Tibetan refugees and the grand structure of this stupa, around 50 gompas have been constructed in Boudha. Therefore, this town is also known as “Little Tibet”.

Swayambhunath Stupa
Swayambhunath stupa is a Buddhist temple that lies at the top of a hill in Kathmandu valley. The most famous inscription in the temple is the carving of the Buddha’s eyes. It stands a symbol of peace in the country. The temple dates back to around 5th century CE making it one of the oldest monuments in Nepal. Around the main stupa are various temples, a museum, a library, and a Tibetan monastery.

Patan Durbar Square
Patan Durbar Square lies in the district of Lalitpur. It is an amazing area with sumptuous displays of Newari architecture in the religious temples and historical palaces. The most notable building in this square is Krishna Mandir, which was built in the 17th century. This place is especially crowded in Krishna Janmasthami- the birthday of Lord Krishna. Other notable places in this square are Bhimsen Temple, Vishwanath Temple, and Taleju Bhawani temple.

Today, you will head out to Nagarkot to catch the views of the sunset in the evening. On a day with low traffic, it will take you approximately 1 hour to 1 hour fifteen minutes to get to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is an impressive hill station that has a fantastic display of the panoramic views of the Himalayas.

You can see 8 out of the 13 Himalayan ranges in Nepal from Nagarkot. The ranges include Annapurna range, Manaslu range, Ganesh Himal range, Langtang range, Jugal range, Rolwaling range, Mahalangur range (Everest range) and Numbur. Nagarkot is also an excellent vantage point for viewing the Kathmandu valley and Shivapuri National Park.

On your way to Nagarkot, you will also get to Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Bhaktapur Durbar Square lies 13 kilometers from Kathmandu. There are four different squares inside the premises of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. These squares are Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square, Dattatreya Square and Pottery Square.

The most impressive of all the temples in Bhaktapur Durbar Square is Nyatapola Temple. It is the highest pagoda built in Nepal. The 55 window palace is another place of great architectural significance in Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

You can also enjoy mesmeric scenes of the sunrise as the sun rises over the panoramic mountains around it. The golden color of the mountains as the sun shines over these mountains is delightful.

After the sunrise views and breakfast, you will head out to your hotel and grab your belongings before setting out to the airport for the flight to Pokhara. The flight is around 25 minutes long. It gives you fantastic views of the Annapurna range.

After arriving in Pokhara, you will check into Hotel Pavilion Himalayas. It is an eco-sensitive luxury hotel that lies in the forested valley of Pokhara. It is set wonderfully against the backdrop of the towering Himalayas.

In the evening time, you will stroll around the local market of Pokhara. Here, you can explore the local culture and get a feel of traditional artifacts of the region. You can buy some souvenir if you want to. After that, you will return to your hotel for the overnight stay.
Today, you will go for Paragliding in Pokhara in the morning. Pokhara is the best paragliding spot in the world. While paragliding, you will get bird eye views of Annapurna range of mountains and beautiful landscape around Pokhara valley, Mt. Machhapuchhre, Lamjung Himal, Annapurna, Himal, Himchuli, and Phewa lake. You will also see rice fields, rivers and settlements below.

After returning from Sarangkot, you will have breakfast at the hotel you are staying. From there, you will go to enjoy the beautiful David Fall. The waters that come down from the Annapurna Range make this spectacular waterfall. From there, you will head out to Bat Cave. You will then make your way to the International Mountain Museum in Pokhara.

After the sightseeing tour, you will head out to Sarangkot for a mesmeric sunset this day. You will get to enjoy a close-up look of the Annapurna, Fishtail and other mountains in the Himalayas of this region during the sunset.
After breakfast in your hotel, you will go boating in Phewa Lake. This is a majestic lake surrounded by lofty hills. The reflection of the sun as well as the hills that surround it is beautiful.

After that, you will head out to Pokhara hotel for your flight back to Kathmandu. This flight will be your last chance to catch the glimpses of the Himalayas.

In the evening time, you will head out for a farewell dinner in Kathmandu.
On the final day, you will have breakfast in the morning. You can also go for last minute shopping if you want to. After that, we will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport so that you can make a trip back home. You need to ensure that you have all the travel-related documents while boarding.
