Gosaikunda Helicopter Tour is a two and a half flight taking you to the holy Gosaikunda Lake. This lake is believed to be the ancient dwelling place of Lord Shiva and Parbati. Countless of pilgrims, especially from India and Nepal, come here due to their holiness. Also, thousands of trekkers trek come here as a part or extension of Langtang Valley Trek or Helambu Trek due to its beauty.

The regular trek to Gosaikunda Lake takes about a week to complete. You also have to cross a mountain pass called Laurebina La which is quite a difficult one. Of course, the trek is worth all the strenuous walking for hours for a week if you have the time and energy. Trekking also allows you to get more closely in touch with the local Himalayan culture. However, multi-day trekking in the Himalayas is not the best choice for everyone due to many reasons including lack of time or physical strength. This, however, should not be the reason to stop yourself from enjoying this outstanding Himalayan beauty, especially if you are someone looking for a spiritual retreat or being a part of the exotic Hindu culture.

Samudra Manthan has been referred to in many Hindu scripts like Bhagavata Purana, Vishnu Purana, Ramayana and Mahabharata during which Lord Shiva drank the poison. It is believed that he derived water from the mountains and formed the Gosaikunda Lake to relieve his aching throat.

There is no risk of altitude sickness as long as you spend only the recommended amount of time while landing at the lake. There is no preparation required. The Gosaikunda Helicopter Tour can be an instant decision to add one more thrilling and rewarding activity to your Nepal trip.

Spring and autumn are the best seasons for the Gosaikunda Helicopter tour but, there is no bad time to do this tour. This pilgrimage tour is perfect for anyone wanting to visit an isolated and mythical lake situated at a high altitude within a few hours without any hassle.

      Awesome Gosainkunda Tour

We didn't know, Helicopter Tour to Gosainkunda existed and this made the whole thing easier!!
We were on our family vacation tour in Nepal and had visited so many places like Pokhara, Palpa, Chitwan. Yet my mother was still upset that she could not visit Gosainkunda while in Nepal as it was one of the biggest pilgrimage sites of Lord Siva and it was on her wishlist for so long. There was no way she could trek all the way to Gosainkunda and no buses were available. I asked Ram (our tour operator) if there was any way possible. He told us about this recently added Helicopter Tour!

It took only an hour to complete this tour and we enjoyed the tour more than we thought we would! The landscapes and the lake were so amazing and the lake was surreal. On top of all my Mom was happy!! Thank you Sublime Trails for this amazing experience, im definitely coming back to visit the Himalayas!
